Yep...been saying it for years. Hobbyplex and crew are first class. It’s a phenomenal facility that’s well run with a hobby store that would make most drool. Great job to Fred and the Tamiya crew. There was some super close racing! If you missed it you missed out!

One more vote for HobbyPlex to be the home of Tamiya TCS national.

Absolutely! The Tamiya crew and the HobbyPlex crew ran a great event! You won't find a nicer site to run a race, and the well stocked hobby shop is great to have when you need parts!

Had a great time at the Hobbyplex track. Thank you to the Hobbyplex crew and the Tamiya crew for a great event.

Has it been decided? M07 or M08? haha.

Fred M, is it true or false that tcs is allowing front wheels to be run on all 4 corners of Euro trucks? Some racers are mentioning that the rear wheels are breaking relatively easy, so they prefer running front sets in the rear. I couldn't find any addendums regarding this. Thanks!

Default F1 Motor

Since we're low on chatter, I'll start. Any guesses/proposals on what motor will be used for F1 next year? Are we going to stick with the Reedy currently in use? Hard to find new motors these days😬

No one seems to be blowing anyone away on speed. When you couple this with how hard the Reddy spec motors can be to come by, we should keep the current motor.

They would need to come up with something for F1 since both the original 25.5 spec motor and the 25.5 roar spec motor from Reedy are both discontinued. If Reedy comes out with a fixed timing 25.5 to match the other FT motors then that should be the motor otherwise open it up to any roar legal 25.5 motor no tuning rotors allowed since all the 25.5 motors are pretty much equal.

If they stick with Reedy for F1, they only have two options. These are the FT 21.5T motor (which should be similar in speed to the existing adjustable timing 25.5, maybe a tick faster). Or the S-plus 25.5T motor ($100). Would be cool to see a FT 25.5 motor but I don't see this happening.
