Considering the weather forecast for this weekend in CT. I'm assuming the venue will be moved indoors?

Carl, they posted on Facebook today that it will be indoors on the carpet track. I haven't run on it myself yet, but I do believe it's black ozite.

It is.

Carl the bite isn't as high as 360V2 if that helps at all.

Thanks for the update... hopefully the rain in CT passes and they moved the vent back outside.

I spoke to Chris yesterday about that. With the rain Saturday and people coming to practice, he felt it was better (and safer) to just run it on the carpet. Instead of possibly getting rained out Sunday.

Anyone with experience have a good suggestion for type of tire insert to use in Tamiya type-C tires on black crc carpet?

  1. The M-Chassis class may use any Tamiya 60D tire at this event.
  2. Due to the high traction nature of the black carpet surface, you may use CA to glue the sidewalls of the tires as well as the flat contact patch of the tire.
  3. Your race director and announcer for this event will be yours truly. I plan to make it fun for all!

Awesome job Sean for a great TCS event at TQ Racing. Lots of new faces so hopefully more people will realize carpet racing is not such a scary thing to do. Been some time since we saw C mains at a Regional race. Thank you Fred for the entertaining announcing and congrats to not just the winners but all that participated. Truly a fun event having fun racing with my friends.

The TamiyaUSA site ( https://www.tamiyausa.com/tcs/schedule.php ) says that the NorCal regional will take place on July 1st. Previously it said June 24th. NorCal's own race calendar also says June 24th. When will this regional actually take place?

Aftermarket motor timing and stator screws were permitted at last year's finals.
