Or they could leave it as is as the 25.5 motors have had much closer performance parity than the other turns. The new rules for the other turns were bringing them more in line with 25.5, not the other way around.

The only bad point is possibly the 12.3 vs. 12.5 rotor, in that it may be a smaller gear window. Having one rotor size has made things simpler. Otherwise, it has been a success in making the motors closer, and it was one of the reasons why the other spec motor rules were changed.

Anyway, as I have said repeatedly, not much has changed from 2017. My goal has always been to keep things as consistent as possible, while adapting to market conditions and trends.

With that said, read the rules and highlighted tweaks. If you have questions, please ask on this thread.

I'm trying to get into the rules now and all it does is sends me to the TCS Web Site and no rules are available again!

Under the GT Pro Spec Class rule #5 says the following.
5. Differential: Item 54649 TT02 Diff Locking Block is permitted for the 2017 season.

I assume that suppose to be 2018.

Hi there to RC Car World and Fred M: Why didn't the results of the 2017 TCS race get posted on the TamiyaUSA website? Can this be addressed before the next race?

All the qualifiers and main results are still posted: http://rccarworld.com/Race-Events

Mini Tire Question

I remember reading in the TCS rules on the website PDF that 60D tires with white rims have to be used, or did I misread this, basically Im asking this because we have a few new gray rimmed 60D still in our TGRacing Store Room that we could use!

Comments???

I followed the link that Fred posted in #21263 and then clicked on the blue letters for the 2018 rules, but the link seems to be broken/forbidden/whatever now. I had gotten to a rules set a week or two ago through this link.
Also, I tried to sign up for a TCS license on the Tamiya website the other day and it wouldn't go through.

Thanks Tron, I had thought I saw that someplace, but I wasn't sure, figured it would be better off to just up and ask!
Appreciate it Bud!!!

Im getting the same message here at work also, I thought it was some dumb IT Ploy from here, but guess they are having some issues out on the Wrong Coast! Hopefully they will fix the trouble soon, and when they do Im printing them up FAST!!!

With the first TCS race less than 3 weeks away, it would be nice to have them.

Hello,

New to TCS and just want to clarify something with regard to the rules, specifically for the Euro Truck:
1) Nothing was mentioned about adding weights, so can we assume it is legal to do so?
2) About tires, it is mentioned somewhere that it is illegal to glue the tires on the "horizontal plane" -> meaning the part of the tire that actually contacts the ground, right? Does this mean it is okay to glue the sidewalls -> vertical plane?

Thanks for the clarification =)

Ah yes, must keep making things simpler and keep dumbing down the masses. Looking forward to running mod sedan this weekend where truly the biggest limiter is one's talent.
