Yes, however, if participants still have sets laying around, they are more than free to use them up. There's no measurable performance advantage using them versus building a fresh set on your own with a white Swift wheel.

same thing for the RC Car World event, that indoor carpet - but yet sweep tires are listed

so if you have tamiya B3's are you not allowed to use them at all now? and we'd have to purchase different tires for different tracks?

Would be nice to have clarity on this as well. Clearly, many high bite carpet tracks pick a spec tire for club racing based on the performance of the tire and consistency of the rubber on the carpet surface. (makes sense for locals to not deal with a tire of week situation). However, for TCS I'd imagine the powers to be would keep the tire to a TCS type tire? And if its a matter of the host track wanting only a specific tire on its surface, what about spec novice?

Hey guys,

I'll clear up the Matrix this coming week. In the meantime, just to clarify one point, GT SPEC NOVICE must use Tamiya tires. It doesn't matter if the event is on carpet or asphalt. Our "C" compound tire work great on carpet.

"11. It is forbidden to mount the ESC on the gearbox. You must place the ESC in the positions offered in the instruction manual of your M-Chassis."

Well that's crappy...

I'm surprised the 'Speedo on Gearbox' has been allowed for as long as it has considering one rule specifically mentions the kits are supposed to be assembled in the manner that they were designed.. A GreyArea that has been cleverly exploited..

My M07 balances pretty well and is not the 'Speedo on Gearbox' configuration, but not within the new letter of the law. Bummed.
