Default Good Racing to watch...

Interesting, EuroTruck on the other side of the Globe don't bounce in the corners. Pretty quick on acceleration too. And 'quiet'..

Most have something to do with the toilet water spiraling in the other direction.

Default So Cal Guft Basket Sale

To my So Cal Tamiya racing friends and family,

I was asked at the Tamiya track today if the company I work for was going to have the annual Christmas Gift basket sale. Yes we are. Attached pdf file lists the dates and times of the sales and information on the sale and location. Prices are generally 40-50% the website prices. Sale items are whatever is in the sale area that day. You can not pick and choose from our website.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !

Had a blast racing the Tamiya Clubrace. Fastest program ever and focuses on the most popular classes. Looking forward to the next one as well.

This past weekends' TCS GP can be viewed here:

RC Scoring Pro | Saturday Club Race December 9th 2017 Results | Tamiya America Raceway

Regarding the 2018 rules: I will post them here and on the Tamiya website late this week. Just keep in mind there will be no life altering changes....just minor tweaks to the existing rules.
  • Mini, F-1, Euro Truck, GT Novice and GT Pro spec will continue to use Tamiya brand Tires. GT Novice will be allowed to use ANY Tamiya tire and wheel combination moving forward. (This will make it easier for novices to get around the track)
  • M-Chassis will continue to use S-Grip radial tires. You will just now be responsible to build your own set based on the class rules specification. Meaning...S-Grip Tire, white Suzuki wheel and choice of Tamiya insert. 60mm diameter limit on completed tire.
  • GT-1 and GT-2 will have a spec pre-mount tire. News on that coming soon.
  • Mini Motor rules will be tweaked.

F1 maybe ?

Thanks for the fun race on Saturday Fred. Out early and awesome competition in all classes. If only someone had video of that 5 car freight train in the middle of the race in GT-2. That was fun to be in the middle of.

And 0.8 seconds separating the top three F1 cars was a race long battle of nerves. Glad to see past F1 champ Tyree back out. His first race on his just built TRF 102 and he TQ's and wins.

Thanks Fred for taking into consideration a change in the tire rules for Novice...

For M-chassis, so S-grip radial only? are the pre-mounted slicks still allowed. Can't wait until the release of the rules.

I hope the Reedy Mach 3 motor I used for one race won't turn into a fancy paper weight.
