You can if you want, but a cleaner method is to use a .5 motor shim between the motor and motor plate.

Is it legal for the TT02 to use the forward body post (bumper) position?

GT-1 & GT2: The spec tire is the SOLARIS S-S36JGM4W

I looked to purchase this tire, but only found SOLARIS S-T36JGM4W.

Typo by chance? If not, any difference in construction?

Not sure what the over all limit is other than you can only run one trip class. So GT1, GT2 or mini. After that you can run a non trip winning class also...just don't know if there is a limit to the non trip classes.

I would like to know this too. I have a GT Pro Spec car that I have used the forward body mount position. I am assuming it is legal. Also ROAR approved shorty packs? I am using them in sedan classes.

Hey TCS guys. For my own amusement I built a F104v2 pro two winters ago in hopes of using it at a TCS race. Never happened, I was able to run it indoors at a local carpet track for a few practice days with a silver can motor. I used the kit supplied spur and pinion gears. I wanted to use the reedy spec 25.5t motor and re-gear it with 64p gears. I have the Motor and the spacer for the spur gear. I was hoping someone could help me get a starting point for gearing? It will be used on an outdoor asphalt track. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ah Panda san, this question, "Can past F1 Champions race F1 at Nats since Japan decided to dis the class and turn it into an exhibitionist class", I already had the answer to but thanks brother.

The question I had for Fred was "Now that my 2 year wait after winning the trip class is up, leaving me eligible for GT1 and another chance to win a trip ( yeh right, but seriously,) did I have to run GT1 at a Regional this year to qualify for GT1 at Nats as it seemed to be stated in the new rules?

I hope I'm just misunderstanding the rules since I went all in with all new GT1 gear to finally give Touring Cars a full effort and not just have one as my second to F1 ride.

Fred? Anyone?

Also, will be looking to buy a set of Solaris tires immediately, like today at Tamiya if anyone happens to have an extra set "handy".

I am assuming I will be eligible for, however not really a threat in GT1.

Like you did Panda, F1 is probably gonna get set aside for now.

FMW,

For Mini Finals tire build in Tech:

Will we be able to cut the outer edges of the Super Hard Inserts so they will fit snug onto the rim?

Thank you.

Looking at the Driver's manual that Fred linked to, it say's for the M-Chassis class there will be a supplied Pinon gear that needs to be used.

20 tooth I'm assuming?
