There are 3 premounts you can use in mini. An S grip premount, and 2 versions of premounted Type As with soft or firm insert.

Part # 1016 - 1028 and 1029

There are 3 tyres in total that people run at TCS races.

1. Sgrip

2. Type A slick with hard insert

3. Type A slick with soft insert

41. GT-3, GT-2, GT-1, GT-Pro Spec and FWD must use the Tamiya’s pre-mounted and glued spec tire/wheel. Items: 1015 Tamiya Pre-Mounted Tires Type B3 (24mm) and item 1030 Tamiya Pre-Mounted tires Type-A (24mm). Note: The B3 tire set (item 1015) comes with 5-spoke, gunmetal color wheels unique to the pre-mount set. (Pre-Assembled components: 53705, 53582, 53471) The Type-A tire (item 1030) is mounted on a standard 0-offset dish white wheel with hard insert (Pre-Assembled components: 53433/53435/53475). Note: Carpet track locations are exempt from the pre-mount tire rule. Carpet track locations may use any Tamiya 24 mm tires and wheels. (Racers tip: The C type compound (item 54256) is recommended for carpet tracks) Exception: The GT Pro Spec class must always use the B3 pre-mount tires irrespective of track surface.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share that Avid has released a bearing kit for the Tamiya Euro-Truck. Options range from standard rubber seals up to ceramics. Check them out here:

I got all my bearings from Avid for my Euro truck. $1 a piece and a couple spares for $20 shipped. Cheaper and I'm sure as good, or probably better quality than the Tamiya bearing set.

Here is a video that our local film guru put together of the TCS Race from this past Sunday at RC Kinetics in Troy, NY. The race was so much fun. Can't wait til next year.

Getting ready for 1 Tamiya race this year. Anyone have a Reedy 252 25.5 TCS motor they wish to loan-rent-sell?

Thank you Fred and the Tamiya crew for another fun TCS race. The new tweaks from taking podium pics right after each A main, raffle prize drawing during the racing and the RC Scoring Pro online site to see all the heats, races and results improved an already great program. Looking forward to the next local TCS race on carpet.
