Toby did not use his TA07, he used a TA05. The turnbuckle is not legal.

Was the turnbuckle just for stiffening?

The brace is not legal for TCS. Walter tried it to stiffen the chassis in the rear slightly and it does help generate more pace at the expense of tire wear and makes the car slightly harder to drive.

Tamiya should be releasing harder plastic for TA07 later this year or early next year to help fine tuning the car. I heard just switching to carbon fiber shock tower completely changes the response of the car so I think the plastics can do a lot in terms of feel. I think one of the reason I'm not used to drive ta07 is the flex. I always had rock solid carbon reinforced plastic on all component for my TA05v2. The stiffness makes the car edgy and on hindsight I probably should have chosen some softer plastics for the rear.

Hi Guys,

well, I thought I was gonna give this mini class a try but it just didn't work out. So gonna sell it:

M05 Version 2 Pro (opened, but not built...I just took a sneak peek of the instruction)
Miata body
Suzuki Swift body
Reedy Sonic 21T brushless motor (brand new, the one specified by TCS rule)
2 pairs of new Super grip 60D Tires

PM me with your best offer.

Steve

Are you willing to part out or is it a packaged deal? Interested in the Miata body.

Default Looking for used Tamiya TCS B3 Wheels

Hi, I'm looking for 10 sets (40 wheels) of used Tamiya TCS B3 wheels with the grey rims unscuffed and tires not worn to belt. I'm using them for display purpose so if you have them, please PM me so we can make a deal.

Thanks!
