Is NSX Concept GT legal for GT-1 (e.g. TRF419)?

Are third company carbon fiber parts and shocks allowed?

Marc and Sobue are not using the stock ones....

NSX Concept body is legal in all GT classes.

No, shock towers/ carbon parts/ shocks must be Tamiya.

Marc and Akio aren't running TCS, if they were they'd have to run by the published rules also For all the information you need about rules visit the tamiyausa.com website under radio control. Go to the TCS menu on left hand side of the screen. Everything you want to know about rules, classes, results ect is there.

F1 weight is not the big deal some make it out to be, I have several tamiya options that i can easily trim to 900g or less but I have yet to get any of them to work that light on pavement. Running little extra weight can improve grip and often results in a better handling car. I don't see the addition of a weight requirement having any positive or negative impact on the class.

[QUOTE=FMW;14437548]Schedule for this weekend's TCS Race at Harbor Hobbies

Fred: can you confirm it is legal to use the F101 carbon fiber arm kit TAMIYA P/N 42286 on other cars such as the F102 an the F104? The kits bolts right into the current two hole front, no modifications necessary.

I noticed the carbon fiber kits were given away as prizes at the last TCS, so perhaps the goal is to get more acceptance of the part. I can say it is sweet upgrade, I got two of the kits for spare parts for my F101 and put one on my F104 and it took away all the oversteer pain...

This was an exhibition class, The host track has no say on which classes get what prizes that is all figured out by Tamiya USA and Fred.

It was a fun race to watch, maybe it will be a permanent class in the future.

I want to give a shout out to the Whiteside family and "The Track at Harbor Hobbies" for putting on another great TCS event. Eric and Karen with all their volunteer helpers do a great job at hosting this full weekend event.
A big Thank You goes out to them.
A big thank you goes out to Fred and Tamiya USA for continuing to support the Tamiya faithful with this great Series.
Thanks for bringing back the shirts.
The GT Pro Spec class looks like that is going to be a great class a truly spec class that won't break the bank. Wish I could have put one together for this past weekend.

That's funny I don't see anything on Tamiya's web site of being exhibition class?
On top of that I emailed Fred 3 weeks ago to ask him how many needed to make the class he said 5 we had 6 and ended up with 8 nothing was said about exhibition back then.
It's also blue on the web site meaning that it's a active class.
