- Maybe "any 25.5 BL" for the regionals and then require "ROAR approved" 25.5s for the TCS Nationals.

- This would eliminate the necessity for folks buying a motor which would only be good for one car (F-1) in one series (TCS). Racers could use motors they already have for VTA or other 25.5 classes.

then they wouldn"t all be equal now would they?
All of our 25.5 motors are running fine together, it would have been ok however they gave us spec motors that can be easily teched and that's what we/they want.

this motor will be great for everything else, oh wait, you had to buy a spec motor for VTA.
Dang it.

See how that works?

I raced against this car and it was dialed at the 2015 Nats. Very low mileage and Tyree has built a few cars in his time so it is one well prepped machine.

What body is the best fitting for a TRF101W with narrow front end to be TCS compliant? The stock 104 body cut lines aren't even close to fitting the 101W. Also, can I see some pictures of electronics placement? Having a hard time getting the body to fit without mashing the motor wires and antenna tube etc. thanks.

Looking at the early ROAR approved motor list for 25.5 it looks like only 12.3mm rotors are allowed, so why would Tamiya spec a motor that will not be an approved motor as species since the Reedy Mach 3 motor comes with a 12.5 mm rotor?

The motor should satisfy ROAR rules with a 12.3 rotor. The stator looks to be of legal length

Hello everyone.

I am going to try something new this year regarding TCS event sign ups. Normally we do it on the TCS website, but for 2016 that has changed. The "schedules and Entry form" tab will now direct you to the https://www.rccarevents.com/ website. From there you can sign up to any of the upcoming TCS events. It's a simple process and it allows me more versatility. It also allows me to promote the TCS series through the RC Events website community.

The first race is now open for sign ups. https://www.rccarevents.com/event_de...?event_id=2506

If you'd like to see the entire series on the RC CAR EVENTS website simply type TCS in the search tab.

Good luck to everyone for 2016!!!

Hey guys, I have both the Lexus RCF and SC430 bodies and want to use one for our upcoming TCS race. I know the SC430 is a good neutral handling body, but does anyone have any experience with the RCF?

---- and now, since the "Fred-Tech Race" thread is being ignored, how about an update on when you're considering to hold the next exciting episode of the FTR series at the Tamiya track in Aliso??

PLEASE

Cool

To all the Tamiya Aliso Track locals...

You are not 'cool' if you do not buy and race one of these body-sets..

Some of the best-est, fun-est, most entertaining-est, exciting-est and close-est racing ive ever experienced was when we raced these types of bodies (yokomo RT-head) back in the 1990-2000 era..

Get ready to get 'MAN-handled'

that is all...

I've used the SC430 for tcs national and felt it had massive amount of rotation and required setup changes to compensate for it. RCF will be pushier in and feel more stuck comparison and more neutral in my opinion.
