Wow that was fast!

Maybe I'll let you try my NSX concept this weekend if you show up at the Tamiya track
There a ton of stickers on this sucker!

Fred, you've been in this business long enough to know that no matter what you decide, someone is going to jump up and down screaming.
My reason for going to a Tamiya system is it completely eliminates any question about the motors. There's no motor of the week issue. In M-chassis, any slight motor advantage is big. I'll take my buddy Carl as an example. He's a very good racer and does his homework. At the Jackson TCS race he ran a Wurks R1 motor. He made some comments on RC Tech about how good the motor was. Last month I was at my local off road track talking about motors and someone commented "how did the wurks motors pass tech?" Now I know for a fact that Carl doesn't cheat, but like I said any slight motor advantage shows up big in a class like mini.
I just wanted to say that, but I'll race whichever way the rule goes. I already have the wurks website set up as a favorite!
Panda, I think if you took a really good poll of all the racers, it would probably come out 50/50. There are good arguments for both sides.

I'm hoping to make it out to the Tamiya Race this year. Question, in Novice class are the drivers limited to a specific chassis. My boys run the TT-01 and thinking of bringing them

By the way, how come none of the newer bodies have precut decals now? Cutting our decals is really a pain...

I would guess it's cost related.
IMHO it is harder to place larger/longer decals with pre-cuts. I prefer to remove a small sliver of the backing, position, press and then do one side at a time.
But as I was doing eight window decals that were each created from four small strips of vinyl I was cursing the no precuts!

I'm going to have to try my silhouette pixscan one of these days. The silhouette is fantastic for vinyl paint masks (below). With pixscan it should in theory be able to cut the stickers for you.

Yes, it fits the stand up shocks, I'm actually going to use this body for Gt-1 class with my 418 chassis, it fits perfect.
Still testing for GT-2 bodies right now, so you can try it if you want. Just try to keep all 4 tires on the ground!

True Torg, price of bodies goes up but no more precut decals
All the newer ones i tried like Ebbro, golf 24, laferrari, and 458 all do not have precut
And yes I did get the new NSX but haven't started on it yet. So far Sean, Max, Tom, and Mark all liked it and was using them in Tamiya and TQ. I'll give it a go once i Finish
which will take a while because of the decals

Fred,
Will the new trf101 front suspension set announced at the toy fair be legal on f104 variants?

Too bad it doesn't use any parts from my complete TRF 101W front end assembly and only uses a couple parts from my recently acquired 101 assembly
