A lot of fast and competitive drivers, free Tamiya swag, Taco party Saturday night and Trophy Girl twins (Yes, Nigel, they're twins) ! The 20th Anniversary Tamiya North America Nationals will be one to remember. Thank you Fred for keeping the program alive and kicking and a series many of us look forward to year after year.

Love this rule. It will give drivers a chance to take their cars through tech and get an appropriate position on the stand.

No more camping required

Drivers Stand Position
You will stand on the drivers stand according to your car number for the first round. The stand is marked from left to right with 1-10 numbers. After the first round is run, you will stand according to the qualifying order in your heat race. If racers want to swap positions between themselves it is allowed, but higher qualified drivers in a heat race receive preference.

I think the track is in open practice mode now. Join the skateboarders.

Lets just hope higher seeded drivers from their Regional performances don't end up in spots 7-10 for their first qualifier....unless that is where they want to be.

Wait....isn't a "camper" what Rod and Fred call each other on Call of Duty ?

I'm really hoping first round of qualies are spread out into extra heats so that spots 7-10 are not needed

I don't camp. You must have me confused with Hebiki. I rush...then complain about lag and bs deaths...until I rage quit.

In any event, safe travels and good luck to all the competitors. I will not be participating this year and will be in tech. Cash, credit cards, and paypal accepted.

I didn't know there was a Modified class in TCS... Hence my silly reply.

Me neither.
Somebody running mod during "controlled practice" hit my GT1(13.5) at full speed at the straight away breaking the 418 upper deck and tweaking the chassis. The driver was a cool guy(he apologized profusely) and maybe was just misinformed.
I just brought up the issue to avoid similar incidents as other racers might not have enough parts to fix their cars.
Thanks for your courteous remarks.
