Yes you can. Just sign up again and select only the 1/12th class. Mention in the comment section that you've already signed up for F1 and that you're adding 1/12th.

BTW, in addition to the trip to Japan, the winner of the F1 class will be getting a brand new TRF101 (Legal next season).

Also, the GT-1 winner will be getting a TRF417 V5 to go with the trip to Japan.

Maybe Cuda will sell me the TRF 101 after the race because he won't give up his monkey car.

It appears you have to carefully set the mesh with lightly tightened motor screws, remove the pinion then fully tighten the motor screws and re-install the pinion gear. Btw - Dave's car kicked ass on the Tamiya track- very impressive.
I have a question, how did he run the gear cover with this set-up?? It's impossible and you have to run the gear cover at the TCS races correct?

What is the track schedule in the week before the Nationals? I know it's ordinarily open:

8/3
8/10
8/17

And then the 24/25th for the Nationals, but are there going to be any other dates?

Oh, and "in" for GT3 as of (hits enter key) now.

WOW! Thanks for the vote of confidence, I think.
I think it would be awesome if that's a blessing and not a curse.
No pressure.

So, what traction compound or combination of traction compound and sunblock is recommended for the RM01 tires at Aliso Viejo?

Paragon seems to be working well for the fast guys I've seen practicing. Jack the Gripper and SXT have also been working well.

Keep in mind the Tamiya track in Aliso was resurfaced a short while ago. The traction has been really high for the last month, so the 1/12 cars have been amazing to drive

Hello TCS Racers,
I’d like to let everyone know that today will be my last day with Tamiya America Inc. It has been a great time period in my life in which I have known and met some great people. I’m fortunate to be perusing a promising opportunity in which I can utilize my technical knowledge and all that I have learned. I wish Tamiya and all the staff the best in the future and I want to express what a pleasure it was to work with you, the TCS participants.

Fred Medel will be handling TCS Duties for the time being, so you are in good hands. Good Luck to everyone at the Finals and I’m sure I’ll see some of you from time to time.

Best regards,
David Jun

As one of the first faces I associated with the professional ranks, a knack for explaining car dynamics and our chaperone to the 2006 Tamiya World Championships - you will be missed.

My most memorable DJ moment(s) - looking back at the Team USA pit area and watching you 'glue' my tires & the first time you rolled up to Tamiya USA in that NSX!

Good luck!

We will all miss DJ. So does this mean there is an opening at Tamiya? Anyway, don't forget to send all your Tamiya RC cars my way since you no longer need them. Now regarding those rules Mr. Medel!

Damn, Dave - I cannot believe you're leaving Tamiya USA. I've never personally met you, but like Dawson said you're the first face that could be associated with professional racing

Good luck in the new endeavor
