David,

Is it illegal to remove some of the parts on my M05 for the Nationals? for example the R/C Unit Tray, Transponder Stay, Battery Holder or the Roll Cage.

Thank you...

David,
Re: f60 body.
Do I have to have those small pieces on both sides of the cockpit if I am choosing to have one piece body with vertical side walls?

Just got my TCS card in the mail the other day. First off, STOKED for the NW regional on the 25th! Second, I'd like to applaud Tamiya and the TCS staff on the cards, what a cool idea! Along with filling the front pocket in my wallet now, what a great way to keep the sandbaggers from the development classes.

I never thought I'd be banned from two classes because of my skill level. I'm taking that as a compliment! Thanks Dave for keeing TCS awesome!

Yes, it has dimples so it's TCS legal to run the optional racing wing on that body.
One more 458 question. Is it IFS only on a TB or TA car ?

You have to run it built like the manual. So you need the roll cage. During tech at the regional they let me slide on no roll cage.

You must assemble the chassis using all key components such as the chassis braces. The transponder mount is not required.

I believe the 458 will fit either IFS or conventional front ends.

I think Ray bought the one John had right after the first qualifier. I predict the NSX counts will start to decline in favor of the 458 at future races.

Such a shame the weather prevented a true GT1 main.

I was pleasantly surprised how well the 458 handled and I'm with you Jethroz...NSX may have met its match.

I too wish we could've run the GT1 in the dry. I wussed out...didn't want to toast my speedo or kit it in turn one. Congrats to Manny.

Ray K - I used the #53604 wing set and it was planted. You'll love it.

Thanks to all for a GREAT time this past weekend. Weather notwithstanding, you guys put on a good show, well organized, kept things moving, everybody was happy. Nice to see John Brown and a bunch of my NY/NJ/CT friends. Good times.
