Hi,

My name is Sai and I just finished the Maryland TCS race (Mini A-main 7th place). I am interested in entering TCS final and also want to do some sightseeing in CA(never been there before). Here are my concerns:

Which is the closest airport? LAX????

How far and how's the traffic from airport to Tamiya. I will be looking for a rental.

Are there affordable hotels/motels in the area?

What's the likeihood of rain in the area? I come from NY and weather is very unpredictable and it had rained several weekends here already.

Thanks.

- Closest airport is John Wayne Airport in Orange County - about 30 min from the track. Maybe 10 miles or so.

-Hotel; Holiday Inn in Laguna Hills

-Rain less that likely, check out weather.com

Rain is not likely, however, heavy morning fog always seems to be around, especially during TCS weekends

When is the nats? I might be playing poker that weekend.

It should be open this weekend - but you might want to check with the Tamiya folks to make sure.

Congrats on SIR.

I would really like to see Martin run a Mammoth Dump Truck part #58268 vs the rest of the TA05s. . . He would be really HAULIN!

He will need something to bring home his winnings...
