If any of you guys that are running the July 21 TCS in Jackson NJ that run a TB03 in the GT3 class what spur and pinion are you running with a 21.5 brushless system? I'm getting my TB03 this Sat and would like to get it ready for the July 21 race.

As far as I know 6000mah is max

TCS legal LIPO batteries must be 7.4 volts 2S-1P/2P specification. TCS legal LIPO batteries may not exceed 6000 MAh capacity. See class specific rules as MAH and C rating may be limited for a particular class. You may use the ROAR approved LIPO list found here as a guide and reference to the 7.4 Volt 2S-1P batteries that are permitted for TCS: http://www.roarracing.com/approvals/lipobattery.php

That says "17. Batteries allowed for the 2012 season are:"

I know it was mentioned last season that battery limit would be increased for 2013, and the only rule showing is showing the battery spec for 2012. Wasn't sure if the year was a typo or the rules had not been changed on that section of the site.

The battery limit did increased this year to 6500 at the beginning of the season. We recently launched a new website and there have been a lot of bugs. A lot of the results and images from the earlier regional's have disappeared too so I'll be working on that as well. For some reason, the battery regulations are from last season which I've corrected this just now.

So, the regionals and Finals have a max capacity of 6500mah. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi, Dave. So to confirm, whatever batteries we ran and were legal at regionals, will be legal for NATS?

Thanks,
Oliver

Rule of thumb in most cases for what is allowed or not allowed is if it is specified/intended to do so in the kit or hop-up for the car.

Even though there's no cutting or drilling involved. Because it is not intended as a chassis flex tuning option, yes, you must run the rear braces on the M05.
