Wish I could have made it down to add one more has been to the list.

Might be coming down for the TQ regional in May for some F1 action. And making plans to come down for Nats this year to see old friends again and play with toy cars.

Default Back in the saddle, again...

Dave J, Fred, George, Brian, et. al. at Tamiya USA, thanks for the great show. Todd Marshall, thanks for the kudos. It's a pleasure to get used to wipe the floor with by you in F1, and one of these days I'll man up and run it with you. I dug seeing you run my new F2012, and I'll be building another one soon enough--when I have hours available to build those doggone sidepods. Arrgh.
Thanks to my 12th-scale brothers, what a ball. We need more guys to step up and make it into the premier drivers' class. Imagine it, guys: speed, traction, handling, side-by-side racing and Porsches. What a day.
I can't believe how badly I got my ass handed to me in GT2. What a crazy competitive class. Congrats to all you A-main guys, you were wicked fast.
Now to contemplate what classes to run at TQ in May for TCS SoCal#2. Wonder what killer mods I can smuggle into a Mini...

More than one person who went locally told me it was stacked.

Hey guys, I'm building an M05 and would like to build it to TCS rules however I am not sure on a few items that I hope someone can help.

1. I see quite a few cars with missing items (battery cup ends, electronics trays) and was wondering if this is legal? I noticed that Brandon Kosowlsky's car on the TCS website from 2010 did not have the transponder tray, the electronics tray, or the left hand battery cups.
2. Are stick on weights legal? What about bolt-on weights assuming I use existing holes?

Thanks!

Rob

GT2 was very "stacked." After two rounds of qualifying, drivers 1 to 19 were all within one lap. (something like 21:5:13 to 20:5:12 from 1 to 19). That's a very competitive spread for a class of 30 or so entries.

Sounds like it's time for the fast guys to start to run GT1 and run with the rest of the fast guys

i think GT2 is considered/contested by those who want to go fast on a tighter budget.. i'll stay there for a lil bit longer.

GT2 is a handful! My first year running, and I barely made the A-Main off some luck. That class is stacked. I'm very happy to have been competing with some great racers. Good race guys!
