2.
Motor Rules: 13.5 brushless motors. See Motor chart for legal TCS 13.5 motors. Note: see general rules above for specifics.
Yes, 1/12th GT is now 13.5

Thanks,

Although the ESC list has not been posted yet (next week). The list has been expanded to include the Reventon Stock as well as many other Speedpassion, Hobbywing and Orion Brushless ESC's

Yes, all ESC's from this past season are legal moving forward.

Not sure what you mean by "linked one", I assume you mean programmable. Neither of the mentioned ESC's can be programmed via a PC as their firmware is fixed. You can only adjust parameters like brake strength, etc similar to the other fixed firmware solutions.

Cirtix was legal last year for GT2 and I can say I was happy with it (1st place in our regional event). The ESC question in terms of a refresh is that if my Cirtix suffers a failure that the replacement option is likely the Reventon Club Spec version, I wanted to understand if the ESC rules will account for this.

Questions??

David,

I've got two questions. First, is the TB02R still a legal chassis for GT3? I only see the new TB03 listed for GT3.

Second, has there been any interest in the Mini 4 class? I saw that this class was introduced last year, but the rules were listed as TBD. My TA05 M-four makes an awesome looking shelf queen but I'd really like to be able to run it at a TCS event some day.

Sad to see FF03 go away. I think with 21.5 and the new chassis upgrade it would have been a great class. From people at the track what killed it off was no wings and no brushless. Hope it comes back because the cars are the most fun out of all classes.

My question to Dave is would you consider letting TRF chassis run GT2 with a weight penalty and remove the weight penalty for GT1? My thought is that a lot of guys are still running 4 year old 416 chassis and even 415s but it does not mean they are all GT1 guys. Might get a few larger fields for GT2 as well.

For the weight rule in GT1 in the past year I don't recall anyone at the Tamiya USA regionals or nationals running a tub chassis car. I would be curious to see how many people nationwide ran a tub chassis in GT1 as well.

Any news regarding the schedule yet? I know that the first potential race is almost 3 months away, but it would be nice to be able to start planning, stocking up on tires, parts, getting time off of work, make sure someone can watch the kids etc...

Is there a minimum ride height rule located in the tcs rules? I seem to be overlooking it if there are.

Min ride height is typically based on the rules of the local track, rather than a TCS rule. Kind of like what tire sauce is allowed/disallowed at various indoor venues.
