How rough on tires is the Tamiya track? I'm bringing 4 sets of the new F1 tires for the Nats, is that enough?

The track is not too bad on tires.

That should be 2x more than enough....now I know where to go if I need a spare.

Me too.
I run em til the death groove lets go.

Round off the outside edge of the rim before gluing to "try" and slow down the sidewall cutting which is still inevitable. That way when me and Tim come to borrow your extra tires they'll still be in good shape.

Hey guys, how goes the BL mini experiment? Have any decisions been made on things like maximum timing or tuning rotors?

I myself really love the BL setup just wish more people would go that way. No maintenance to speak of, no rpm limits to worry about or 2 and 3 silver cans per race, and best of all so far for me its been faster than the silver cans. Don't get me wrong its not that much faster but the last tcs race I think I quailified 6 seconds faster than the silver can class.

Glad to hear that I overbought on tires. At least I'll have currency to bribe people with.

Looking forward to the Nats. 4 days of nothing but playing with toy cars...
