Looking forward to this years finals! I can't wait! Where's the best place to get a good deal on b3's premounted?

Hi Fred

I have the Orion 5000mah and 5500mah battery. They are both on the ROAR approved list. I have bought it 1 month ago for the TCS nationals and I noticed that they do not come with the roar approved decal. Is there any way that I can use them for the TCS nationals? I specially bought these batteries that are Roar approved for the event however I did not know that it is required to have a roar approved decal as i mailed ordered it. I don't see a point on getting another battery for the race. And even so... How can i make sure that the shop will send me a roar approved battery with a roar approved decal? I live in Iowa and rc stuff have to be mail ordered here..so there is no way I can ensure that there is a decal on the battery before I purchase it. Further more, I had to order before the final rules were finalized just so that they can be mailed to me in time giving me enough time to try the batteries out in my car.

Will appreciate if you can address the issue.

I don't see an issue with the Orion batteries. I'm more worried about the obscure brands that people are buying. The Orion batteries are fine to use.

The TCS North American Finals are up. Please make sure to fill out the form completely. If it's not filled out completely the entry will not take.
You will notice we have added a couple of new fields. If you don't have a transponder please make sure to click the check box that reads "I need a house transponder"
There is also a drop down menu that let's you select which TCS race you qualified in. It even includes last years TCS Finals. Make sure to click the one that applies to the race you qualified in. If you raced multiple races, just pick one. We will verify you have indeed met the requirements.
Also, we will be tearing down brushless motors throughout qualifying and especially the main events. Don't get too upset if I randomly tear down your motor. I will make this warning to all. If the stator does not have a clear label or imprint to the wind you will be disqualified. If the stator does not match the outside marking you will also be disqualified.

Kelvin...No, ROAR does not required the batteries that is already on the approved list to have that ROAR APPROVED sticker on the side....that is more for a advertizing material. However, your LIPO decal (in your case, Orion) must listed the lipo parts number on it, that should MATCH the ROAR lipo list...that is important.

And TCS rule is TCS rule, if they refer to ROAR, then I think your LIPO are a OK.

In the spirit of TCS, here's my TQ setup from the Jackson TCS race. I hope it helps others go fast. Didn't change it all weekend. Should've checked my diff though...

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if anyone has the S Grip premounts (1016) in stock? They're showing as out of stock wherever I've looked. I love these premounted beauties as much as a dislike gluing tires on to rims. I'm hoping to find someone charging the proper price of $35 and reasonable shipping.
