hey mini guys...what battery holders are required on the M05? can you use the M03 setup on them or does it have to be the M05 holders?? and can you run without them?

I'm not talking about the 'wings' that attach to the chassis - just the ones that hold the ends of the pack in place

I remember something right after the M05 came out that said you needed to run the M05 holders on the M05

just asking cuz my little mini needs to go on a diet like me, its a little overweight (1359 vs 1250!!)

Brad, Really? Why did you go there?
You do remember I have a GM ESC with ASP (automatic steering and power) from back around 12 or so years ago. Just ask GoofBall.

Best part is.... It is all "INTERNAL" to the ESC and therefore totaly legal per Freds clarification.

Bidds on this wonderfull little device are now OPEN! Opening bid is $50.00.

Hey Mark, long time. How have you been.

I was just poking Brad for old times sake.

The old tag line for MPH Products was:

"Competition Presents Challenge,
Challenge Stimulates Creativity,
Creativity Yeilds ADVANTAGE"

Think ouside the box.............
but work with-in the box!

Fred,

Will F1 be using a spec battery at nationals again this year or will we be free to run any battery on the approval list?

Mark

Cool MINI ... Cooper

Kevin I only use the left side holder ( either one 03/05 ) , I always tape the battery in , tech never told me I have to use them in all the years doing TCS . never seen it in the rules neither way , sometimes heaver is not always a bad thing .
maybe try a lite-weight body . . . .

.

thanks, Tom I know sometimes heavier isn't a bad thing, but almost 100g over seems a little too much - and I added weight to mine, so I'll take that off and see how much closer I can get the car

Default F1 foam or rubber???????????????????????????

Hi Guys...Hi Mark,

I saw that entries are open for the TCS race at Jackson RC and noticed that F1 was listed as a FOAM class. Could this be an error..I though this would be run on rubber?

Ralph

Earlier Ralph posted this question and unless I missed it I still did not see an answer. Any takers????

The Jackson race is less than 2 weeks away and no response here or on the TCS site to clear this up...

Is the Jackson race on carpet?
I was under the impression that the TCS carpet races would be run on foams in F1 class.
Our TCS race at TQ Raceway's carpet track was run on foams.
The field was mixed with F104W configuration and F104 standard foams and the win could have gone either way cuz both setups were fast for many racers.

It is asphalt there. Jackson is the better paved 'Tamiya of the East Coast'
