Any Tamiya Track locals can pick up the items instead. http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...dies-kits.html

Hi guys,

I need clarification on a F-1 rubber tire rule.

Rule #10: ďShortĒ servos may be mounted horizontally in place of a standard size servo called out in the manual. No modification to the servo holder is needed. Spacers between the Tamiya servo saver and the steering rods are allowed to achieve the correct clearance between the suspension arms.

How should I interpret the sentence in bold? I would like to mount my short servo horizontally but would like to sand/cut off a portion of the servo holder. Is it simply a recommendation (i.e. 'you don't need to but you can') or is modifying the servo holder prohibited?

Thanks in advance.

Default Rules.

When will the CURRENT rules be posted?

At Omaha there were a few who knew what the new rules were that only existed in email from Fred NOT on the Tamiya website. Like FF there have been added 4wd bodies to what to this point has been known as a FF only class. Example Audi TT.

Don't think it is fair to have rules that are changed and known to a select few. It it is not on the website, then it should not be allowed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ball has been dropped on this one!

So who was running the Audi?
Fred's pretty good about implementing rules updates, sounds to me like a bending of the rules

Here are the rules from the website.
"FWD body styles only including some limited Rally body types.
If a FWD body does not have a wing included, you may not add one, regardless if itís ABS or polycarbonate. All FWD bodies are not allowed to use the optional polycarbonate wing sets, regardless of pre-stamped dimples on some of the FWD body sets."

So the TT is not a rally car, and the argument is not really about the wing. My knowledge of the FF is pretty limited, but I know that the Audi body allows you to run a short wheelbase, which gives a handling advantage. I thought that the TT was a no go. FMW can clarify though

And now I have the 2001 Ford Focus RS WRC Rally body, big ol wing on the back comes on it. Hope it translates to downforce and the next hope is for brushless in this class and it might just be time to run this car again.

More non-tech bodies for people to cut and alter. If no-one else runs them or can find them they can manipulate the system...

Default Got TT01?

For those of us who like TT01 racing and/or endurance racing, we've got a series of races starting shortly on the east coast this spring. The first event , the 12hr CLASH at the COLISEUM should be an absolute blast considering how many TT01 racers that track has had over the years!

I wish we had a series like that in our area.
