So, come on down and enjoy the great weather and track conditions! We are now spraying the track regularly and were getting a lot of positive feedback and it's all good! Including mini, F1 etc.etc.
So, how to see all of you soon!
Happy Holidays to all! Hope Santa puts a lot of Tamiya hopups under your tree!!

Grandpa,
Did ya go to the track today? How'd the 60-degree timing work out? I'll see ya tomorrow!

Merry Christmas everybody...

Hi all, I'm hoping to do my first TCS racing this year and have esc questions!

I run the Tamiya Volac BL2 and the TBLE-01S... what has surprised me is neither of these esc's (despite being Tamiya!) appear on the list of approved esc's!

Does this mean I need to buy some none Tamiya esc's?

Only the brushless esc's that are listed are the only one's approved.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the BL "pros" start in with their special rotors etc. Oh well, so much for simple and fair.
Yeah, I know I'm quoting myself, but I cranked the timing way over and the car was very, very fast. So much so that I ceased driving the car and was just trying to "hang on." It was so much fun----nerve wracking, but an absolute blast. Had a few TC drivers try my Mini and every one had a big smile on their faces. Actually had a little trouble prying my Tx from their hands cause they were having so much fun.

Set ups are gonna be problem with the extra speed and some of the "wrecks" are going to spectacular. I've broken two front body mounts on my M03 already. M05s seem to take the tumbles a little better.

Sounds like 21.5 would have been a better option to keep speeds reasonable with all that timing applied.
Maybe for 2013 ?

Default MORE SPEED PLEASE

Are you kidding me? We were having more fun than ever wheeling these little rockets around!! They aren't your Grandma's Mini anymore... Bring lots of front tires!

You want to run slow, like we've been doing for yeeeeears, go in the silver can class, Grandma...

Does anybody know Sean at TQ , is there anyway you can open the track about an hour earlier so we can beat the evening traffic to Chino via the 91 Freeway, which can be a mess! May have 5 or six of us out there for tomorrow?
If anyone else wants to come out tomorrow at TQ will leave Tamiya for TQ around 2:30 for carpet practice!
