Red face

I got my B3's today in the mail; quick service from Horizon. The box says to run the Blue (Soft) inserts. Going to Tamiya tomorrow to buy those, or some Green (Med) inserts, but I am scared to run without any.

Yeah but...

How blistered are they...

How many rims are bent...

How many are still usable with the selected insert...

Got a Nats question.

Which batteries will be legal foir GT classes? IN other words-the IB3600 and 3800 and gP 3700.

Thanks,
Ray

Ray-
Fred announced at the TCS Regional in Aliso last weekend that the commonly- available batteries recently introduced for the RC hobby (i.e. 3600- 3700-3800 cells) were legal as of that moment. Same rules regarding hobby shrink wrap, yadda yadda, but that means that IB's and GP 3700's are legal for all classes.
See you at the nats?
Later
Doc

Mike... when are we getting our TA05s? (Man, I swear, it's really a good feeling to say that!) I'm trying to convince Joven to come out and play... wouldn't it be cool to see all the GT2 winners from socal run together?

Another couple questions all-and thanks so much in advance for answers.

What are the tires and inserts I need to practice on for Nats. I will be running GT2.

How many silver can motors do I need to buy to practice on-what I mean are they all about the same or do you get a good one and a bad one-pick the better?

Thanks again,
Ray

oops I mean

Last year I think they had 1 sliver can handout for GT2. If you ran GT1 last year you could buy 2 bushing rebuildable 23t mods.

Tires usually B (good luck) or B3s. If the track is really cool usually pre-9am "As" can work. Inserts for GT2 are probably different than what GT1 is. I would guess med to med hard... depending on the time of day.
