Need help finding tires...
TCS race this coming weekend.
Everyone is out of Tamiya tires her in So Cal.
Looking for B3 compound, and Medium Tamiya inserts.
I have a set of B3 with HPI inserts, but there is too much airgap.

Smile Tire Update

Tamiya stated they are aware of a shortage and are going to try and airfreight some into the US by this weekend. In the meantime I found some B3 tires at Horizonhobby.com. I don't know how many they have in stock, but I got two sets with shipping in Cali for $80.00. In case anybody is looking.

Yeah I would have loved to have bought those from him, but Steve is totally out of stock. If Tamiya is out he won't be getting his any anytime soon either. Unless.... he has some secret source ??

I might have 1 or 2 sets of NIB B3's. I'll search for them tonight.

Glad I stocked up in time. BTW - Steve sold out of his last shipment in one day.

Hi Kevin CBR. I haven't run these at Tamiya before, do you know what insert works the best ? I was thinking Tamiya greens, or blacks ? Do you have any recommendations ? Thanks.

Saw them at So Cal. too. I should be getting mine today from Horizon.

Does anyone know what inserts work the best with these ???

Curious to know if they come with inserts already.

Thanks guys.

B3's are four tires only, no inserts, no rims. Haven't run them before so not sure what the hot set-up on inserts is yet.
