Out of curiosity, how many different motors and esc's is the average TCS racer purchased????? How many motors and esc's have they "fried" or turned into junk?????
Grandpa

Have 3 BL escs; Novak GTB, Tekin RS and Hobbywing XERun.
Don't have any issues with any and have abused the Tekin and Hobbywing.

You can find used GTB's for $40 being 3 years old don't really think they are at a disadvantage, unless the footprint is a concern especially for a mini. I am more concerned about motor than the ESC, some motors are low on power dyno numbers.

That is a lot of weight and if you really want to run a wing you will have a handicap of running more weight then the rest of the FF03 not using the option wing. We just have to figure out what is a reasonable amount of weight. What do you think?
Just my 2$
lol... uhmmm, that would be interesting.

but im not a fan of that either..

PM back at ya... thanks a lot..

If weight helps the wingless car and a wing helps a weightless car, if you added weight and a wing would that be a double advantage?

Slow is fast, right?

Let's just say I have eight cars in the RC room with full electronics that I can take to the track right now. 6 are brushless systems, 2 are brushed. Does that make me above average ?

Seriously, I have spent less on brushless motors in the last 3 years than I have on brushed motors (27T and 19T, not silver can) the last three years before brushless came along.

Totally agree ! That is why I switched from stock to mod class for this weekend. I will have a great time watching the really good guys pull away from me about 5 seconds after I hear the beeeeeepppppppppp.

Default Raindrops keep falling on my head

With the rain right now, I am doing the non-rain dance to chase the clouds away. What is the prognostication for Saturday? ??

Default Weather

I just saw on the news that the skies will be clear with a little rain right infront of my FWD's rear tires.

It was great to see all the action at the Tamiya track. I loved it when Barry Baker got on the mic and announced that 13.5 heat!!!

I hope this happens more often, it was such an awesome day I am happy to have taken part in it.

Max: great job in 17.5, it was cool to see a Tamiya junkie kick some a$$ and TQ the class. By the way Tamiya was 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 17.5 A main!
