Hey Fred or any official type Tech inspectors out there, got a question about the F104 Separated Upper Deck Hop Up installation options since they are not on the setup sheet but they are a Tamiya hop up option.

The shock can be mounted with damper plates in the original position or without the damper plates assembly in a new position but my question is about a third option which lets the shock mount in the original position but without the damper plates.
Anyone know if this is allowed.

See pic, note no damper plates.

Too bad you were unable to make it this year, Mike and Bill. We're gonna miss you.

Incredibly strong field in mini, probably a dozen drivers who could take home the gold and the trip to Japan.

And so it begins...

How did I ever manage to get "resorted" into the GT-2 "A" main qualifiers, for rounds 2 and 3???? I certainly don't mine being Tamiya's infamous green back-marker (and I did try to do my best to stay out of everyone way) , but oh my goodness, I was starting to have flashbacks of trying to run GT-1 back at the June Regional in 2003...

After tonight's resort, hopefully I'll be back were I belong, with the rest of the "B" main folks. ___

My only complaint is Fred needs to incorporate car numbers with driver names. Watching racing with no driver information is pretty meaningless, especially when there are no heat sheets available. Not the 1st year he has done this, like we can really read the numbers from these feeds and know who they are.

I had to scoot before the raffle was over, plus I lost my ticket. But I wanted to say that this was one of the if not the bet Nats trips out of the 9 or so that i have made.
A big thanks to The Passehls for letting me crash at their house, it was great to see you all again.
Dave Bird and his family for hosting a great event on Friday night.
All the locals who were as usual totally cool to hang with for a few days.
And last but never least Tamiya for keeping the series and the track alive
Congrats to all the trip winners, do us proud in Japan!!!!

Just want to thank Tamiya America for the great time I had. Having raced the tamiya Asia cup, the tamiya north America finals is indeed an unique experience. This nationals is truly worth the red eye flight and trip from Iowa. Hope to be there again next year.
