Just checked in a slew of Tamiya parts in preparation for this weekend's race.

Will be putting one last order into Tamiya tomorrow. If there's something special anyone needs, please call us at 626.237.0807 or pm me.

Speedtech will be at the track this Friday (half day), Saturday and Sunday.

See all you happy shiny people there!

Hi Guys,

I've updated the entry list. You can find it here: http://www.tamiyausa.com/tcs/NAF_rules.php

Also, please make sure to read the drivers manual, which is also located on the link above. The manual explains everthing you need to know about the race format, time line and procedures. Make sure to read it. If you know of new racers that are coming to the Finals for the first time please be kind to them and help them with the manual and with any kind advice you have.

Here's something to also keep in mind. It's in regards to chassis rules and legality questions that always come up during the finals. The tech guys will have blank set up sheets for the popular cars that our racers uses. Example: M03, M05, M06, TA-05, TA-05V2, TRF 416/417, F104, F104X1, TB-03, FF-03 etc. If you want to know if something you're doing is legal or not ask yourself this question..."Is the adjustment I'm amking to the car something that is called out on the set-up sheet? Example: Can you remove the plastic spacers from underneath the front of the F104 camber piece? Answer: NO. Do you see that as an optional tuning set-up on the set up sheet? NOOOO Can I add spacers and shim to the from suspension arms of the F104? Answer: NO. Do you see a call out on the set up sheet for such a thing???? No....
So, keep what is called out on the set-up sheet as your guide to what you can and can't do.

FM

Tom- some of us were actually raised on Monty Python, thereby somewhat extending our vocabulary:
Customer: I want to buy some cheese.
Owner: Oh, I thought you were complaining about the bazouki player!
Customer: Oh, heaven forbid: I am one who delights in all manifestations of the Terpsichorean muse!
Wasn't that Mr. Wensleydale, the cheese-shop proprietor who was shot at the end in "a senseless waste of human life"?

If Archimedes was needing enough smoke, I think it must have come from what he was smoking when he envisioned the screw...
