Jeez, did that guy hit every doggone board on the track? I'm surprised he had a front end left on that car.
Suddenly, I feel a lot better about my Mini racing.

Great race at The Track in Winthrop Harbor! Good to see all the familiar faces. Great racing and facility and crew.

If you want to go to a little extra work, and at my age I usually don't want to, you can go to LiveRC.com and then to The Track at harbor Hobbies. Go to results and look up each race. Eric will probably post them on his thread under Illinois-Wisconsin racing.

The tech guys, Darrald,Shawn and Matt.

Al's Hobby Shop for sending up extra tires and parts we ran out of.

Just want to thank Eric and his crew at the Track for a great TCS race.
We were home and in bed here in Detroit by 11 last night.
Also a huge thanks and shout out to Paul Lemieux for helping me with my chassis setup, the car was fantastic after he wrenched on it , just wish I had more seat time to get used to it, but I did manage to win the C and the lap count would have been right there in the A.
Hope this becomes another long standing venue in the midwest as they really run a great show

Hi Bruce,

It was almost like the old days. Many of the trackside favs were there (M. Lack, Jeff Stevens, the Weirs, etc). I don't think I have been at the same race with you and your brother since Cinicy in '06. Too many family and work commitments these days. The motor city was represented well this weekend, though, with A-main showings for all.

Probably no more TCS this season for me, although Memphis sounds tempting.

That record of yours is truly amazing. My history is missing a fair number of results from the mid to late 90s which would explain the differences. Races 42, 47-64,68. 76, and 77 to be exact. In the records I have, I have you placing on the podium in 33 events. Do you normally run 2 cars at each race? I have done that for years and was really tempted to try three this past weekend (picked up an F1 car the week before). Glad I didn't run more than a few quick installation laps with the F1 as I would have been back-to-back-to-back in qualifying and the mains. Way too much.

Erik

FYI - Once results are posted on Tamiya's web site for races #160, #161 and #162, I will post a new Regional Hall of Fame summery table. As posted above, I am still searching for more classic results. If anyone has access to them, either in old issues of RC Car Action or personal records, let me know.
