So who's out?
I guess I am. Awesome last-minute change after I spend $$$ on premounts for two classes and jump through all the other hoops to prep my cars.

Sort of sums up TCS rules sometimes. This is not a complaint, just an observation. I know that Fred is "gruntin'" on the rules harder than a guy with a 3 day case of constipation sitting on the john. Some times tho, the law of inintended consequences is going to bite you in the ass. He's got a tough job and does a good job, so I'm just not going to "bitch about it
Haha yeah, I know the quote you were *really* thinking of. I am too young to know it, but Wikipedia is your friend (sometimes.) I was just trying to bring a little levity in here.

Reads:

TERMS OF ENTRY:
The Tamiya Championship Series is an amateur racing event. "Factory Team" drivers (drivers who are, or have ever been, employed or supported by a factory, manufacture or distributor as part of a factory racing team) are not allowed to compete. It is understood that the definition of a "Factory Team Driver" includes drivers that receive or have received sponsorship entailing a monthly salary from a factory/manufacture and received paid airfare/accommodations to racing events. Currently "Sponsored" drivers are also not allowed to compete in TCS events. It is understood that "Sponsored" drivers are people who receive some kind of discount to run an R/C manufactures product for the purpose of promoting and exposing their brand. By accepting the "Terms of Entry", you're acknowledging that you are not a "Factory Team" or "sponsored" participant. Failure to properly disclose your status will result in your disqualification at the TCS event.

So who's out?
So....I'm out too? I don't know, what's all this reposting of the rules for? Are we trying to get Cuda out? Has he become that fast where we need rule book technicality to get him out? If I remember correctly, he is not that fast, even in off-road he is not that fast and spends more time on the lid than on 4 wheels... j/k Cuda, we still friends

I think I'm going to just call Fred for a "golden Pass" and I'll be able to race....Cuda, you want one too?

you guys are hilarious, just shut up and race!

Steve

Dang it Steve!
Why did you give me those free spur gears for my OFNA truck!
I went and put STRC stickers on that truck and everything.
That let the cat out of the bag.
I knew I should have declined free parts, because of those free parts I'm now a threat to win the IFMAR Worlds.

Hope they didn't give you free stickers, or something else free.

Help support single mothers, that work as strippers.

If we just shut up and race, RCtech will not exist as long as... and that would lead to less advertising opportunities for your company which could lead too... Ok I'll shut up for now.

I'm trying to get my son's car ready for the race; just ordered the 26mm racial radials for his TT01, any recommendations whether I need to use inserts; if so, which ones would you suggest.

What a pain, got him the TT01R, and the motor and tires/rims that's included aren't legal for TCS novice class. Go figure.

I wanna see your sponsorship decals, Sir. Or are they NC-17 rated and therefore illegal to show in public?
