What a beautiful day of racing in Paradise here on the Central Coast of California.

Mid DECEMBER temperatures in the low 60's with great sunny skies and as clear as the eye could see made for a great day to race.

I don't know what the head count was for total number of actual racers, but we had 24-25 entries for yesterdays racing, with several taking advantage of the SINGLE price 'Per Racer' to enter multiple classes.

Orrin Jensen laid out a cool On-Road track once again and then showed everyone how to get around it. We did have 2 classes of On-Road this week, including Chris who came over from the Central Valley area.

The oval saw our two regular classes (Stock Cars and NASTRUCKS) plus a handful of Mini-Sliders for the first time. The sliders just ran an exhibition and didn't have transponders.

...at this time I'm working on schedule dates for '08, but the next race date is locked in on SUNDAY Jan. 20th. Hopefully MOTHER NATURE will continue to be kind to us as we get into the NEW YEAR.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all - and we'll see you at the Track in '08~

Joe

...added a couple more names to the email list...

slowly but surely we're making ground and getting the word spread that we are racing again...

...sometime in the near future I'd like to get ideas on what we'd like setup for a class structure

right now things are pretty loose until the turnouts get a little more steady...all I care about is

#1 - guys being able to come out and have a good time...

(The Losi Sliders were kind of a kick to watch - but they were almost MORE brutal looking then MY driving with my TRUCK!)

When is the next race day? I just got back from SLO and I'm headed back up in the next week or two and I want to try and make it on the right weekend.
