Barry,

I am going to try to make this one. Don't know if I will be able to get anyone to come with me, so, I will probably be solo again. Hope to see you then.

Oval 19T 4 Cells - Touring Bodies / Foam Tires / 19 Turn Motors and locked Timing.
Touring bodies? You are talking about a pan car right? If so should'nt it be a nascar style body?

Just so everyone knows, this layout will be the oval around the outside, and the in field will be used for the road course using some of the oval.

Let's see how this goes over.....

After checking with ROAR, I can allow LiPos in Stock, 19T and Mod. I really would like to try this... Just so you know the 4200 SHV have 1.47 V and LiPos have 1.4 V so they should not be an advantage... Let me know what you think....

Also, per ROAR (http://www.roarracing.org/news.php)
12/10/06 Recommended Weight Guidelines

ROAR is providing the following guidelines for clubs and tracks that wish to entertain four and five cell provisional racing in their respective programs or series. In all cases dummy cells should be discouraged to prevent 'accidental usage.'

*For Electric Touring: 5 cells-1450g rubber tires; 4 cells-1375g rubber.
6 cells - 1525g rubber tires

Should we allow the different battery configurations? Yes we would weigh the cars....
Let me know what you think... I know this is loaded idea, but really why not?

You need to add cap tires to both your oval classes....

IM NOT TO SURE ABOUT RUNNING CAPS IN A PARKING LOT ?
WE MAY NEED TO RUN FOAMS DEPENDING ON HOW FLAT & SMOOTH THE OVAL IS.....
AS FAR AS LIPOS IM COOL,DEFINATLY WEIGHT BY ROAR RULES

No problem, caps are allowed but I agree, foams, I think, are the way to go.. It is flat, and will have an Indy feel to the track.

Everyone that knows me, knows I like to try things, and race what racers want to race...
