Electric racing is going the way of the DODO!

1/8 scale is really booming right now. I don't think electric ever had this many tracks in one area. I remember MnM, the Ranch, and of course So Cal, but that's it.

Of course too many 1/8 scale tracks might be hard to support.

The carpet that was ordered was CRC's newest Fast Trak Carpet...so it is the good stuff.

Who can we recruit to design the 1/8th scale dirt track? Does anyone know where we can find lay outs?

Well probably the best at 1/8th scale track layout design and builds is Joey Christision(sp?) of The Dirt Raceway. Although I think he is not involved with that track anymore.

I think I could come up with something if I thought about it enough, if you can't get any help there.

Hmmmmmm if we could just come up with the 1/8th scale track lay out...we could be creative with the jumps and make the cars go huuuuuuuuuuuuuge!

We're in the process of buying the materials for the outlay of the track. We're gonna go with the plastic square rain gutters w/velcro on the bottom to hold it to carpet, and corner dots. Its about $10 for a 10 foot strip at home depot...does anyone know where we can get a better price?

I might not be able to make it opening day because im still snowboard instructing in big bear until winter is over...but we're on it.
