I just do not feel comfortable with tire truing, foam choice etc. Then again I never tried it before. I will give it a shot one day if that track really open...

If somebody does manage to get this going, you can bet I'll be out there racing on a weekly basis. I've been out of it for a long time as I just can't spend 2 hours driving to SoCal. I'd absolutely love to break out the 1/12-scale again.

I looked for a year and a half for a suitable spot for a carpet track and most places wouldn't even talk to me when they found out what kind of use it was for. If you've been able to get it done, bravo!

If it happens, why not. I would show up at least once a blue moon to be able to say that I went to race before.

Knowing all the people involved in this I seriously dont think they are stringing anyone along here. The track will happen just give it a little time to get everything in order.

Well it looks like someone on the Track Locator Forum knows more than locals, since he is announcing that the track will not happen.

Where is the carpet? Wassup?

http://rctech.net/forum/showthread.p...32#post2853232

Anyone knows anything about something yet ?

Ignore that guy, he is just a troll who goes around bashing people and things he knows nothing about. He's been suspended.
