Couple of questions on the spec class-

1- Will we be required to use a certain connector on the motor or can it be hard wired? I ask because mine is setup to be Tamiya legal with the bullets on the silvercan.

2- All I have are 4600's and didn't see any limits on the cells. Are these cool?

3- I have only practiced there, so are PT's (personal transponders)useable?

4- do the heats start at 2 or is that when practice starts?

Couple of answers:
1) I'll bring a bag of genuine motor leads for anyone who is using the stock connectors. Zero problemo!
2) 4600's are fine. We kinda figure with the motors being even, batteries will not be a competitive edge, especially for those of us who choose to use the kit speed control. LiPo, Nimh, Ni-cad, should all perform about the same.
3) PT's are great if you have one, but there are house transponders that you can use for racing. Nice thing about PT's is that when the software is in practice mode you can see how much your times are improving.
4) Heats start around 2pm, track opens at 10am for practice.

Thanks for the answers. Lucky for me I have a few PT's lying around. Unfortunately this Sat will be tight. I coach my sons football team and we have a game @ 12 and I am an 1hr away from the track. Is this going to be a weekly class for the fall/winter season? If so I am definately going to be up some. Next weekend more than likely. Plus I may try some oval on sundays. I am a dirt oval guy primarily who has some TC's that I play with. I will check back often and add my name to the list when things are definate.

Looks like the FT race at GBHT has been cancelled and their outdoor season is over.

SO, if you know anyone from over there who might be interested in the Senior Spec class starting this weekend, make sure they know about it.
