I don't think that Jim and Slim will allow foams for touring cars on the track anytime soon.

I know. I wasn't planning racing with them, I just wanted to get an idea of what foams work for asphalt on an electric touring car.

teamAE: 28 seems like it would be a little soft. That might be why you traction rolled. In 1/10th pan we run either a green or pink (both around 30) at socal and I would think you would run a harder tire on a sedan.

You'll have to setup your car a little differently too, Eric, but I think you might have answered your own question. Wider rears feel a bit more stable on the nitros, but you might not need them for electric.

Hey guys I'm in the market for a new servo. What is "the servo to have". I want one that I will not have to replace for a while. Digital preferably, right now I have my eyes on a Ko 2143 @ Jax Hobbies for 100. Is this a good servo?

Thanks

The digital servos are nice and all, but the problem is sometimes they don't center properly. Additionally, they require more power to run compared to the analog servos. It's a good idea to get the same type of servo that matches your radio.

Jim told me that he wouldn't have a problem with it.

Normal would be around 40ish. I have tried 45 front and 40 rear and that seemed to work quite well.

your finial frive ratio should be around 6.5 for like p2k2, mvp, and top but for a monster I would go up to 7.0 or 7.1

Are you talking about rollout in reference to differing tire diameters on foams? Or are you talking about Final Drive Ratio? They are two different things.
