It’s awesome to see a Chinese company taking it right to the established radio brands. Looks like the radios have been performing at a high level and acceptance among the highest level of competitors is growing. Laugh all you want. Keep running Spektrum…😂

Looks like the cost of Flysky is going way up. What's next, Surpass sponsoring top drivers?

why would that be so strange to you? You guys had no idea who Hobbywing was not that long ago….and now look…multiple ifmar championships etc. with some simple research (the educated kind) you can find out who Surpass has been making OEM motors for for years. It’s not like these factories fall out of the sky. I’m sure you know that too.

LOL... Newwave.George is asking ME to find out who Surpass is.

Hello Newwave... You might want to do a little research, yourself, before assuming the intelligence of someone else. LOL... I'm just messing with you, so please don't take offense.

We were not making these comments as a diss on these companies. It was more of a "Looks who's finally wanting attention and finally advertising their brand" type of comment. We are all quite familiar with the history of Hobbywing and where/who makes them.

By the way, let me know if you want a good deal on a Surpass motor. I might know someone who can hook you up.

I hope you're not feeling as though you're being attacked. You're really not. I see you're new here. Most of us are pretty friendly and like to poke each other. If you don't like to be poked, then that's cool! I apologize for it.

Billy only made that statement because your statement about me needing to research Surpass.

You'd be surprised at how wide the mechanical engineering field is.
IIRC Jukka Steenari worked for Losi/Horizon for a long time then went on to some toy company as a senior engineering/technical type then something else.
Hupo Honigl is/was a hydraulics engineer. (I think?)
Josh Cyrul works for GM as an actual vehicle engineer.
I vaguely remember some German guy who used to drive Schu working for a vehicle tuner.... I've forgotten his name sadly.
A couple of French racers have started their own hobby shops/brand. (Renaud Savoya and someone else whose name I've forgotten)

It's great for the factories - they can build their marketing on the backs of under payed teens/college kids and dump them on the street with nothing but some useless trophy's when they're old enough want the kind of pay and benefits to support a family.
To be fair, that's the age range of world champs of, er, anything really. You really do need to start VERY young and then have MASSIVE family support throughout your teens and 20s to get to that level. It kind of mandates you living with your parents and all the baggage that comes with it.

I'm now torn between this mystery Schu buggy and the new Agama......
