Manassas Hobby Town to start racing

Races are on for this week
After a few weeks off, races are back on this Saturday the 22nd, and it will be the last race in the 1st series for the year. If you haven't been to the track come on out and get a feel for things, or get your car (or truck, as there are many of them) set up for the Second Points series which should start on the 29th and run each Saturday for 9 races, (of which the best 7 will count)
Door prizes are given away each week and entry is $10.
Hope to see you there.

JoJo, this is not Jack, but Jeff (run in the truck series, guy in the chair) Not sure he has come up with the new layout. This Sat. the 29th of July will start the second series, suppose to be 9 races, best 7 count, and will be run every Sat. with no breaks. You can log into the forums listed below, Jack does check it out from time to time, don't think he gets on here.

Sure thing.
Go south on 28. Turn left on Piper Ln. Follow Piper Ln to the Broad Run VRE parking area.
Here's the map of it (it's really easy).
Registration is usually started around 10:00AM, with open practice 10:00 -11:00AM, and first set of heats starting at 11:00AM.

Come on out, get into the points race
This Sat. the 12th of August will be the 2nd race in the "Summer Sizzler" points race at the track. It will be the best 7 of 9, so since this will be only the 2nd race, you can get all 7 races in and still miss another race and be in there in the end to win the series.
Hope to see you there.
Jeff

Hey Jesse, saw your other post about going to Richmond Hobby Town, and sounded as though you had a good time there and did well.
Your car looked good at Manassas and was hooked up. I race the Monster and Stadium truck class and nothing wanted to work for me last week, but hope to have worked a few bugs out.
I wish we could get more at one time in the Electric TC class to show up. I like the fact that there is a novice class, helps to get more into racing, and then basically a open class where you can run what your brought, that way there is nobody pissing over the what motor, tires, or anything else you have. I hope you will show up again, wish some of the ones that used to run Electric would show up, but I think they are ready for the indoor carpet.
Take care, and hope to see you back when you get a chance.

No racing on August 26, 2006
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the racing, and this weekend Aug. 26, 2006 will be a date that Jack had other things planned, so there will be NO racing.
Racing should continue the next Sat. and each one after that.
Check my forum below for any changes that might happen.

Last race of the year 2006
This Sat. September 9th will be the last race for the 2006 season. Things had to be cut short due to opening of a new store, and time needed to be devoted to it.
Hope to see a few out, as there should be some discussion about racing next year and the future of it, and maybe try to get some kind of Club going in the area. The more that put their input in the better I think this will work out.
