Your diff is unloading and sending your car in whatever direction the loosest wheel is breaking traction.

The diff you have isnt sealed so you cant put heavy silicone....there might be some mods to make it sealed and run a heavy silicone oil. This will create a limited slip differential and will put down power better in a straight line at the cost of turning some.

Another option is locking the diff with JB weld....locked diff will be great for going straight but turning will be horrible and off road use will suffer.....if this is a dedicated dragster just JB weld it...

Could be the dif, but could be your slipper... Try loosing your slipper up a little each run until it goes straight. If it still does it or the slipper is too loose, try the diff. It could be a combo of the 2 as well.

Really interested in no prep racing. Would anyone recommend starting with a stock dr10 in the 13.5 class or just build and go mod bumping up motors as I get better with tuning and control?

I would. Very happy with my DR10 kit. I started slow to get a feel for it (300kv/2S initially, now 4200kv/2S) though I'm ready for more speed.

My buddy picked up the RTR and it goes very well out of the box. Hit stock tires seem to grab much better than my Hoosiers. All he's done so far is mess with the gearing for our track - hasn't touched the suspension at all and it's pretty stable all around.

Why are the 4 latest threads in the racing forum all "no prep drag racing"? Can a mod please merge them?

Default Ride height for no prep chassis

Is there a standard height or it's up to the individual ?
Just getting into no prep and this is only one of a few I have to ask.
