Default how to practice chassis tuning at home?

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat, I live far from any local tracks leaving little time on race day to actually practice and experiment freely. I have a nicely paved school parking lot about 400 feet from my house I'd like to take advantage of. Besides a leaf blower, what other prep I do to get the best "track like" experience to work on chassis tuning?

Plastic cones and a timer work for me. It’s not perfect but goal is the same. Consistency

What are you using to record timing?

Sorry about the delayed response. Lost track of this thread. I used 3 different lap timers. LapTracker app on my phone for quick setups. I use a Zeppin lap timer. And recently bought the LapMonitor system. The LapMonitor has they advantage of being able to do multiple vehicles. Unfortunately havenít been able to try that feature.
