Hey Canyon,

Hows it coming with the boards? Do you need help getting it or did you get it already?

I'm sorry, but I have been super busy with school and getting the house ready for baby. I've been trying to make the SRS races for myself, but I guess I could put that aside and use the time for the club..
Maybe we should setup another meeting, its been a while.

BTW: AMB system will probably be here this week.

Things have been SUPER busy with work and buying a house... I know that the plan right now is to talk to firebird mid to late april (Or at least I remember something to that affect being mentioned at the meeting)

I also know that Stew and Dawn have spoken several times and the logo was very important to the presentation they are working up...
Now that one is in place, things are moving.

As far as a meeting... probably will need one after the presentation with firebird... not a real concern at this point, unless everyone wants to come over to help us move sometime between march 20-27 . j/k...

Sean

yes, I was called last Thursday that the check was received and they are verifying funds and will ship out the system probably today. It'll be UPS ground and coming to our office. Entire AMB system with two timing loops and two sets of club transponders and software.

Not like I didn't try..... I didn't want to lose the deal so I bought it myself for this club's use.

Anyone going to the Airtronics race at Rev? Bill Christianson and I are going how about the rest of you nitro freaks? If you have not raced on Rev's infamous flypaper make sure you bring your 50 shore fronts and 45 rears.

Any news about track locations? Are we in a holding pattern again?

Lets keep this forum alive......................

i went to maddmaxx hobbies inside the indoor swapmart yesterday. the hobby shop is still around and it looks like they are still doing really good (after 8 years inside swapmart!)
anyways, i got the phone number of the swapmart's manager from the owner of maddmaxx. for those who haven't gone there, they have a huge parking lot. i think it will be a good location option for our track since there's a hobby shop inside that can support us. currently he carries mostly nitro stuff but geared towards offroad stuff. but it shouldn't be a problem to get onroad stuff in the future.
the indoor swapmart is located at the southeast corner of camelback and 27th ave. (just west of i-17 freeway). the owner was asking me if we have some kind of membership card that we can show when purchasing something from their store because he already offered a 10% discount for our club members.

Wow that's awesome Joe! So I went back to Washington for a little bit and I got bored so I put my 1/10th sedan back together. She needs a new motor but other than that she run's great. Not sure if I can still get parts but I'll try. I'm going to come out to SRS and run with you guys when I get back! What kind of tires should I get for that track?

that's great! set of 37's and 40's for tires. most of the time it's 40's but sometimes 37's are needed so it's nice to have both in the box.

for the "brand", i personally like skyline/monotuning foam tires.
