Racing from an different perspective?
 

Here is a video of one of our UK BRCA A main national finals 1/8 electric class (Serpent 977e mainly). The Wombwell RC track uses part of a Kart track - the last corner and main straight is actually a Kart circuit. I am running in the race but put my DJI Mavic Pro up before the start and it recorded the whole 7 minute final all by itself :nod: #clever :lol:

Looks great. I found a lot of mistakes from watching video of my races. Video like this is would be even better.

The best bit is you can just leave the drone flying above while you race and it'll stay there for at least 20 minutes. If anything happens like a low battery or whatever it will return to the take off position and land itself. I always take off from a position well away from anyone so that if it had to return by itself then there would be no issues of people in the way etc. Also during the drivers briefing I just make sure people are aware of the drone operating and to stay out of the way!

I’ll have to look into a drone for next summer. I did videos for all my races this summer just with phone. Came out ok but I’m looking for better options for next year.
