Default Search Feature for Mobile View

I'm trying to search using the mobile view but it pulls up way too much info. For example, I'm trying to search for For Sale items and if I type in Traxxas Slash it pulls up stuff that has nothing to do with For Sale in the mobile view b/c it's a general search.

However, the pc view (3.7 New) which I really like, lets you perform a more detailed search within any given forum. So if I'm viewing the For Sale thread I can click on the link "Search this forum" making the search for Traxxas Slash specific to only the For Sale items and my search more relevant.

I found a work-a-round when I'm using my mobile device but it's a pain. Is there an easier way to search the for sale thread with more accuracy when viewing it on my mobile device? ...so I'm not looking at stuff from Australian Racing that might be discussing the Traxxas Slash but has nothing to do with for sale items?

Thanks!

Agreed. We really need to be able to use the "Search this forum" and "Search this thread" functionality from the mobile interface. I have to force my phone to use the desktop view to perform a search.

Sorry for the delayed response to this.

I'm escalating up this suggestion to our dev team for consideration.
