Angry Desktop Scareware ads. This needs to STOP please!

I would love to not have to run *******/disconnect (Wow! ad8lock is censored?) on my PC and help RCtech out. I actually kinda enjoy looking at some RC related ads. First it was only mobile, now I am constantly getting things like this where the browser wont let you close the window and tries to scare me out of $$..

DRTMI likes this.

I got the same thing from another forum. report it to google(since you are using chrome) and they will block that site.
https://safebrowsing.google.com/safe...badware/?hl=en

another, https://www.stopbadware.org/

unfortunately since this site relies so heavily on those ads this kind of thing will continue to happen. they basically are allowing the spread of malware through this site. this is why I quit using windows computers for 98% of anything online. I switched to linux.
it's also why windows wants to do auto updates and force people to new the latest windows. anyone running windows vista through 8 are kind of like the kid showing up to school with the flu infecting everyone.

Nothing but a Scam!!! Got something similar a while back. Microsoft does not program phone numbers into their software for trouble shooting issues. Only way I got rid of it was to shut the puter down and disconnect the power cord for a few minutes. Wouldn't even let me close the window out or do an emergency shutdown.

Yeah, i rarely browse with out ad8l0ck and disconnect off... Its only when im watching new episodes of the expanse that im forced to disable them and then i forget to turn them back on.

This was the first time getting something like this on my desktop browser but ive been getting nasty popups on mobile for months I regularly visit several other forums on the same PC and phone and never get anything like these. I really feel like there is some different choices/contracts/wayofbusiness/etc that this forum could choose to help alleviate this. IMO.

And I will report them to google, but just seems there is another piece of the puzzle here that would do a whole lot more..
