Default Suggested threads / scrolling

Kill the "suggested thread" feature. When I select a thread to view, often it will scroll down past the last post to a "suggested thread". This thread often has a similar title/content to the thread I chose and sometimes catches you out, causing you to miss what you intended to read.

This is especially annoying in the for-sale forum, where it will bring you to another f/s thread with similar content. Let me be clear here: when someone selects my for-sale thread, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want them to be directed to another one like it, I want them to see my item, and my item ONLY.

Fix this.

Do you mean the "Similar Threads" list at the bottom? If so, When you view a thread, what are you clicking on?

Yes. I don't click on anything, it scrolls to the bottom (to the similar thread) automatically. I am not seeing a thread list at the bottom, I am seeing another thread in its entirety.

When you are in the main thread and click on a listing/post to read, what are you clicking on? The thread title? "last", or do you click on the arrows next to the last member to post?

I'm not clicking on anything. I select a thread and it automatically goes to the end, making the "suggested thread" appear to be the place my previous click has navigated to. I then must scroll up to see what I was looking for.

What are you clicking on to "select the thread" when you are in the main thread? You can't read a thread without clicking on something.

Both. Sometimes the suggested ad will be from as far back as 2013.
