I would change the awful banner at the top of the page that has been up forever and a day.

Something more RC oriented that reflects the hobby better. You guys do a great job with the forum, but that banner has always stunk.

I'd reconsider the parameters on what is actual tech help, and what is just blatant advertising from companies. I'd also start handing out 24 bans for known "direct customers" who don't offer any help, just tell people to buy their product.

I'd also set a RSS feed at the top of the forum for a $1 add space so vendors could place cheap adds instead of cluttering up tech threads.

I'd have the "manager" of the vendor forum have a working email address. I've inquired several times about setting up a vendor account just for it to bounce back.

Edit: I'd also like to be a moderator. I am constantly reporting posts, and it's odd that so much seems to slip by.

More rules for BST forum, There are a few good examples on other forums.

I would make it more friendly with advertising.
I would promote the search function much better.
I would close repeating topics and questions.
I would warn/ban the the commercial people who only use these forums to promote their shop and products w/o a contribution to the forum.

Don't automatically log me out or keep me logged in at least 30 minutes. Replying to some posts can take a long time to type.

For whatever reason posting links (YouTube, Internet) should be as easy as pasting the link, instead of working with the icons at the top.

Pictures are too hard to post.

Some youtube posts can't be seen on a cell phone due to flash player error or something.

Good job otherwise.

I love the community and all the info, but I think the website is a bit outdated. There are many other forum type groups that function more smoothly and don't feel like they were built in the 1990's. I have had issues with bouncing back and forth in mobile vs desktop mode and getting logged out constantly. I also frequently have difficulty finding things I'm looking for even when using advanced search.

One last thing would be to add categories to the for sale thread or perhaps build different threads other than the one giant for sale thread.
