Default can a mod change my name?

can/will a moderator change my name for me? i want my name to be changed to Jester (if jester is taken i'll take Jester The Joker)

been discussed, changes typically don't happen, or if they happen ( rare) only change to your actual name, or some form of it. john doe, Jdoe, johnd, etc.

Moderators can't change user names, you need to PM a Site Administrator.

On a rare occasion, he may change your name to your actual real name. And even that, is a big "if". Usually, the answer is no. You get a certain reputation in the community and on the site, partially by the handle you use here... so you need to stick with it.

We try to discourage real names or any real-world personally identifying info in usernames. It only gets stickier over time. Best bet is to choose something that you are ok with under any circumstances, because odds are you'll be stuck with it.
