Default Paintball guns are being traded here but Airsoft isn't? Why!

I received a warning from a moderator, we won't say no names. I saw that paintball guns have been frequently sold or traded on this site. But my Airsoft gun I wanted to trade ad was flagged as a warning. If Hobbytown sells them in the Rc community out of their hobby shops as well as paintball, what's the big deal. I am not selling a fireArm that discharges rimfire or center fire rounds, just plastic bb's that are also used in war tournaments just like paintball. I want to put my ad back up, all moderators get together and decide on this for me. I'm a bit concerned that someone would believe this was a firearm, and by doing so, is not a sufficient moderator and is flagging the wrong ads.

It was me that gave you the warning. I know what Airsoft is and that it is against the rules to sell on this site.

In airsoft, the gun is made to look like real-world firearms. The plastic pellets resemble bullets and are loaded as magazines just like with real guns. In paintball, the marker is loaded with paintballs through a bulky hopper. The gun has to be held upright for loading of the paintballs, while an airsoft loading resembles a real gun once again. It's just one of our rules here.

This is an RC forum. Not paintball or airsoft. Neither one has any place here. There are plenty of forums dedicated to both.

And this is coming from someone who likes airsoft and paintball.

A lot of forums I am on have an "everything else for sale/trade" forum. I don't know why this is a big deal? What's next can't sell play station games or a watch. This is silly.
