Default When can I post without waiting for approval?

First, thanks to the mods and admins who keep this site up and running. Kudos.

I just registered a few days ago and was wondering how long it will be before my posts are allowed to show up without mod approval? Obviously this isn't a chat room, so I don't expect instant responses to my questions, but I've waited half a day or longer for a post to show up.

to answer your questions..... with all the spammer ads that have been popping up they put in a mod control... with this we can rule out the spam before you guys see things... i think this is how it works... it is still new to us... i only have certain powers in certain sections.. so i might be wrong also. marcos.j or mr. losi would be the best to answer your questions better... jeremy

It is, but the new stuff is making it easier to find & get rid of. I for one am really liking it, gives me more time to engage in the threads instead of just moderating.....

Questions??

A new user says "Hi"

Couple of days ago I tried to post a reply to a thread but it doesn't show up. I'm sure you moderators are busy enough but could you please check this?

Might be a pain for new users, but I support it 100%, and if you had been around before it was in place, you would see its value. Our boards would get spammed all day, all over the place, by random retailer's spam bots. Every day, floods of threads dedicated to buying Nike sneakers

MUUUCCCHHH Better with the new approval system. Keep up the good work mods.
