Default FYI, Site Slowdown

Hi all,

I know everybody has been experiencing a ton of slowdown at night here, as more people come online and the server gets bogged down.

I am going to (once again) upgrade the server in the next week or so, I'll let everybody know the timeframe on this.

Thanks for sticking with us!

Sorry again for the slow site. I think our poor little server (although it's not that little) just can't handle things right now.

I'm going to go ahead and order the new one, 'cause I can't take this poor performance anymore!

Im having a problem with the main index...
When I use a link that takes me through the main index, it prompts me to download index.php. So I click open, and it pops up again. Originally the .php extension was associated with Picture IT, so I changed that to IE, same problem. The site loads sine if I come through a link to a thread though.

Any thoughts?

For those of you having this problem, did you try to access the site at all during the server move on Wednesday evening?

There was a time when our PHP processor was "broken" and the "do you want to save this page" was the result. I thought things were fixed but now I am hearing from a few of you that it is still happening, though I can't duplicate the problem.

Trying to track it down. Thanks.
